Measuring for Multiple Blinds in One Window

Welcome to our simple guide to measuring for multiple blinds in one window.

Before you get started, you’ll need a steel tape measure, pen and paper. Please note that all measurements should be taken in millimetres (mm).

When measuring for a multi-panel window or sliding door, you’ll need to provide individual measurements for each blind you want fitted.

Width 1: Measure from the outside edge of the left to the centre of the panel mullion.
Width 2: Measure from the centre point of the left mullion to the centre point of the right mullion.
Width 3: Measure from the outside edge of the right to the centre of the panel mullion.

Please note: Side-by-side roller blinds will have approx. 30mm gap between fabrics.

Measure the drop of each panel in 3 places and take your smallest measurement.

Minimum Depth Required for Recess Fit

Please refer to the below measurements as an approximate guide to the minimum depth for the bracket.

To do so, find the centre point of your mullions and make a mark, then measure from where you would like your blind to sit above the window (we recommend 50-100 mm above and on either side of the window opening). Measure to the centre point marked on the mullion, then from the centre point marked to the next mullion until you have measured every panel.
