What is Zip Pay?
Even though I have some of the most affordable blinds in the business, I know that the expense of getting new window treatments can add up. It's not always easy to pay upfront, that's why we've brought in Zip Pay, a reusable account that lets you buy now and pay later!
What is Zip Pay?
It's a reusable account that lets you shop online up to your account limit (up to $1000). Each repayment that you make towards your purchases will replenish your available funds, allowing you to reuse your account again and again.
How do I apply?
It only takes minutes to apply for a Zip Pay account online via the Zip website or the Half Price Blinds website. To be eligible, you need to:
- Be aged 18 years or older
- Be an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident
- Have a valid Australian mobile phone number and email address
- Have a verified Facebook, PayPal or LinkedIn account in your own name
- Have not previously declared bankruptcy
How do repayments work?
One you've made a purchase with Zip Pay, the repayment process is pretty simple. Every purchase you've made is added to your account, then at the beginning of the month, you'll be sent a statement with a summary of what you spent and what you paid in the month. You can then pay whatever you like on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, as long as it meets the monthly minimum of $40. Oh, and all the repayments are completely interest free!
Are there any fees and interest?
It may sound too good to be true, but when you pay with Zip Pay you'll never have to pay interest, ever! As for fees, there may be a one-off set-up fee depending on your account limit, which Zip will add to your balance. There's also a $6.00 monthly account fee, but that is waived if your closing balance is paid by the due date. So, if you're up to date with your payments, you won't be charged a fee.
