How to install DIY blinds: In 3 simple steps
1. Measure Meticulously
Measuring your windows is the most important step when it comes to ordering brand new blinds. All of the curtains, blinds, and shutters we sell online at Half Price Blinds are made to measure, so you need to make sure you get your measurements correct!
It's crucial that you get this step right, otherwise you could end up paying for blinds that don't fit your windows. As I always say, measure once, measure twice, and measure again just to be sure!
I'd recommend taking your measurements using a steel ruler or tape and recording in millimetres (mm), to ensure the result is as accurate as possible. Using a pencil and paper is also a great way to help record the right measurements.
When measuring, always look out for things like window handles or tiles and take their position into account to ensure a perfect fit.
